Program Objective:

This seminar will cover the following amendments to HKFRSs which are effective in 2016:

• Amendments to HKAS 16 and 41 “Bearer Plants”
• Amendments to HKAS 27 “Equity Method in Separate Financial Statements”
• Amendments to HKFRS 10 and HKAS 28 “Sale or Contribution of Assets between an Investor and its Associate or Joint Venture”
• Annual Improvements to HKFRSs 2012-2014 Cycle
• Amendments to HKFRS 10, HKFRS 12 and HKAS 28 “Applying the Consolidation Exception”
• Amendments to HKAS 1 “Disclosure Initiative”

The seminar will also cover the common accounting issues identified by the HKICPA during their Professional Standards Monitoring Programme.
