Enterprises with business operations in Hong Kong will often experience enquiries from the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department (“IRD”). The inappropriate handling of the said enquiries may cause potential consequence such as additional tax, penalty imposed or field audit.
This seminar aims to make you better understand the characteristics and issues arising from the IRD’s enquiries. The speaker will discuss how to take actions proactively on facing such enquiries, as well as what taxpayers should and should not do when addressing the enquiries through some case studies.
