Programming Objective:
This seminar is dedicated to accounting and finance professionals in the area of the application issues of certain HKFRS on merger and acquisition transactions including acquisition method, fair value of consideration, assets and liabilities, contingent consideration, step acquisition, deferred taxation and various derivatives. Speaker will cover an overview of the key areas of these HKFRS with focus on some areas which are sometimes overlooked or misunderstood. The seminar will cover some investigation findings of the Financial Reporting Council. The seminar will also include the basic principles and illustrations of reverse acquisition accounting.
