Program Objective:
The new Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and the Revised SME-FRS are effective for financial statements for periods beginning on or after 3 March 2014. The first set of annual financial statements applicable is that for the year ending 31 March 2015. Therefore, it is good time to have a final revision of the new requirements for the preparation of financial statements under the new Companies Ordinance and the Revised SME-FRS. The seminar will cover the major parts of the new Companies Ordinance such as preparation of financial statements, reporting exemption and directors’ report. The seminar will also cover the new sections of the Revised SME-FRS such as business combination, goodwill and consolidation.
