Programming Objective:

This seminar will cover the following amendments to HKFRSs which are effective in 2015 and 2016:

• Annual Improvements to HKFRSs 2010-2012 Cycle
• Annual Improvements to HKFRSs 2011-2013 Cycle
• Amendments to HKAS 16 and 38 “Clarification of Acceptable Methods of Depreciation and Amortisation”
• Amendments to HKFRS 11 “Accounting for Acquisitions of Interests in Joint Operations”

The seminar will also cover the common accounting issues identified by the HKICPA during their Professional Standards Monitoring Programme.
